Icabob Design began in 1999 as the need for more quality web sites were in demand. There have been so many who have asked where the name "Icabob" came from. Most people think it came from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, but that is Ichabod Crane. Some think it was derived from a Three Stooges episode, but Icabob Slipp was a crooked lawyer who gypped the Stooges out of their inheritance.

Actually, the name Icabob first surfaced when the founder acquired a weenie dog (dachshund) as a small child. Although his name, Otto, was decided on by a vote from the family, (he was the only one who liked Icabob) the name never left his thoughts. About 2 years after Otto was born, he became one of the many lost puppies in this country. Signs were hung, doorbells were rung, and still no Otto. Needless to say, he never surfaced.

In Otto's memory, Icabob Design was born. He was definitely the coolest weenie dog on the planet and whomever has him is probably extremely happy. Good luck Otto (a.k.a. Icabob) and may your days of chasing lizards, barking at squirrels, and digging in the trash be filled with much joy.
